Learning Coordinator

Job Status: Full Time

Duties

  • Coordinate program logistics for learning and professional development opportunities including workshops, lunch or breakfast meetings, seminars, social events, and webinars. This includes working with presenters to schedule dates, room set up/facility arrangements, material preparation, and other details as necessary.
  • Maintain a member database; this includes tracking member event participation, membership levels/renewals, updates/edits, giving activity, and reporting
  • Support all learning marketing and communication initiatives including e-blasts, newsletters and other marketing initiatives
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, correspondence, attending the meetings and recording minutes
  • Work in collaboration with bookkeeper to ensure timely and accurate processing of payables/receivables, budgeting and reporting
  • Coordinate and track NSC StrongStart program
  • Order and maintain supplies for events/meetings
  • Track gifts and ensure timely acknowledgements
  • Manage historical information and files
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications

  • 3 – 5 years of administrative or coordinator experience; College degree preferred
  • Nonprofit and volunteer coordination experience preferred
  • Exceptional computer skills; proficient with MS Office software, social media and email marketing platforms; experience with Constant Contact a plus
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
  • Strong verbal and writing skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficient in managing business correspondence, files, and records
  • Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service orientation
