Central Ozarks Medical Center is seeking LPC/LCSWs for our expanding Behavioral Health department. Position will work in area schools near our clinics in Camdenton, Osage Beach and Richland, MO. Must have the ability to cultivate positive and productive therapeutic relationships with patients while always maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. Must also be self-motivated; possess strong time-management and organizational skills; and have the ability to manage a high volume of client interactions. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and exceptional interpersonal instincts that will allow you to function effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment. We're looking for a problem solver with a positive attitude who is open to receiving feedback; and has success working with diverse populations.
Intake and assessments; assisting in coordination of admissions and discharge requirements with patient, family and staff; detailed charting of progress notes within electronic health record; providing counseling, developing patient treatment planning, reviews and case management; providing pre-certification of services to managed care companies; managing patients ongoing treatment and assessing outcome; attending clinical and administrative meetings as required.
Education and/or experience:
Prefer minimum of 3 years’ experience in a clinical setting serving patients suffering with psychiatric, substance abuse and/or co-existing disorders in an Intensive Outpatient program is preferred. Experienced in treating adolescents.
Monday - Friday, 8 a – 5 p with excellent benefits and student loan repayment .
