PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Covenant House Missouri (CHMO) welcomes youth who are runaway, trafficked, at-risk, or experiencing homelessness with unconditional love, absolute respect and a place to call home. Beyond shelter and basic needs, we deliver transformative solutions to help young people ages 16 to 24 build productive, independent and sustainable lives.
The Stewardship & Corporate Partnership Manager is a new role for the organization. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced development professional to join our Advancement Team. This position will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships with corporate partners, donors, and other stakeholders, ensuring sustainable support for the agency. This position will focus on stewardship, engagement, and collaboration to enhance the impact of our fundraising initiatives.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. CRM/Donor Database Management
- Serve as the agency expert on the CRM/donor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date donor records. CHMO uses Donor Perfect as our main CRM software and Donor Drive as a peer-to-peer platform.
- Implement and maintain data management protocols for effective donor and prospect tracking. Provide training and support to staff on database utilization and best practices.
- Assist with ongoing and regular database audits, updates, uploads, and reconciliations in collaboration with data entry specialists, finance departments, and other team members.
2. Donor & Prospect Coordination, Moves Management
- Lead the development of a donor and prospect management process (moves management process) to ensure a systematic approach to cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors. This includes developing stewardship plans for all donor segments (i.e., major, annual, planned giving, and in-kind donors) and monitoring the process for adherence and success.
- Manage a portfolio of Major Giving donors and prospects
3. Tax Credit Program (YOP) Management
- Identify and solicit donors eligible for YOP credits, ensuring all available credits are utilized.
- Coordinate the donor application process for tax credits. Provide support and guidance to donors regarding tax credit opportunities.
- Support the grant team through the tax credit application process and any required reporting.
4. Focused Attention on Major Giving, Corporate, and Community Relationships
- Track agency-wide engagement activities with all corporations, businesses, major donors, and other community partners.
- Collaborate, cultivate, and maintain a relationship with the corporate sector to identify partnership and sponsorship opportunities. Managing assigned portfolio of donors.
- Conduct research as needed on corporations, businesses, major donors, and other community partners to make more meaningful connections with them.
5. Support the Chief Advancement Officer, CEO, and other leadership with the Guiding Light Campaign (future Capital Campaign) and other special projects.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Regular contact with all CHMO staff, donors, vendors, suppliers, board members, volunteers, and outside agencies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with MS Office applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- Experience working within a CRM/Donor Database, or other database platform required.
- Ability to proactively organize and prioritize work, resolve problems, and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills in interacting with staff, volunteers, guests, donors, and media.
- Experience with public speaking, capacity to share compelling stories to impact and influence others.
- Knowledge of how a non-profit Development or Advancement department functions.
- Previous experience working in human service agencies and/or with the homeless population is a plus.
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (business, communications, non-profit, etc.) with a minimum of 2 years working within a CRM/donor database or a High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years working within a CRM/donor database.

SALARY RANGE:
- Starting range for this position is $44,160 – $55,200
- This position is eligible for full benefits offered by CHMO.
