Role Purpose

The Coordinator of Corporate & Foundation Relations is responsible for organizing and executing the activities of the Corporate & Foundation Relations team by engaging local and regional businesses, family foundations and government entities in raising funds and awareness for the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation (SLCHF).

Responsibilities

(Operational Excellence) In order to turn information into insights, this role is charged with standardizing data input and output for Corporate & Foundation Relations. This individual will actively manage the team’s grant application deadlines and procedures; design and implement the moves management process of Corporate & Foundation prospects; develop work plans and final reporting against all applications and grants; and ensure final deliverables in a timely manner. The Coordinator also serves as a conduit between foundation teams in reviewing and improving processes that will add value to donor relationships.

(Information Management) Conducts significant amounts of Corporate & Foundation prospect research, develops deep knowledge of the constituent donor and grant databases, and meets with key hospital contacts to acquire information on which proposals, donor reporting and donor stewardship materials are based.

(Proposals) Responsible for developing, uploading and tracking the success of fundraising proposals.

(Solicitations) Responsible for making fundraising solicitations in conjunction with Corporate & Foundation Relations colleagues, and/or peers across the organization (e.g. Individual Giving, Planned Giving, Special Events, etc.).

(Relationship Management) Directly manages an individual portfolio of current and prospective Corporate & Foundation donors to Foundation, as well as provides appropriate donor stewardship of the assigned organizations and individual organizational contacts.

Minimum Requirements

Degree:  Bachelor’s Degree

Experience:  2-5 years
