Community School

Community School, one of the premier independent schools in Saint Louis, is seeking a receptionist/administrative assistant. Known for its deeply personal and engaged approach to learning, the school enrolls approximately 345 students from ages 3 through sixth grade. This position reports directly to the Division Directors and Director of Admissions, and is a key member of the staff.

Primary responsibilities include answering the phone, procuring substitutes for absent faculty, greeting visitors to the school, and performing various administrative support duties. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent with some college preferred. In order to be effective, this individual must be energetic, proactive, and detailed oriented, with strong computer skills, and at least three years of related experience. The applicant must be able to handle multiple tasks, to prioritize projects, work with minimum supervision, and to work well with others.
