Summary: This full-time position provides gift processing and administrative support through data entry and maintenance of donor and member records, gift acknowledgment and fulfillment, and daily reporting. Ensures the highest level of data integrity and donor confidentiality. The position supports these functions of the Institutional Advancement Division as a member of the Fundraising Operations team. The position reports directly to the Fundraising Operations Supervisor. The anticipated term of this position is September 2021 through September 2022.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creates, updates, and maintains records for Garden donors in the Raiser’s Edge database.
  • Performs data entry of membership and general and capital campaign donation records.
  • Performs quality control checks and reconciliation of daily work.
  • Prepares, reviews, and prints gift acknowledgments, membership cards, and fulfillment packages, and other correspondence to donors.
  • Provides external customer service, when appropriate, to serve public, member, or donor requests/inquiries by phone, mail, or email.
  • Evaluates work and adheres to PCI compliance and donor confidentiality requirements.
  • Adheres to record retention and gift acceptance policies.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum of one year of data entry and/or administrative support in a fundraising environment or similar setting required.
  • Experience with The Raiser’s Edge, Tessitura, or similar constituent database required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel required.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide customer service via telephone, email, and in-person required.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and prepare business correspondence required.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills are required.
