To help us fulfill this mission, St. Louis Arc is seeking the right individual for the position of Assistant Director of Residential Services. At our Dautel Circle residential homes, this role will oversee, direct, and provide leadership to the operation of services. This position will ensure supports, policies, and procedures are in full compliance with DMH Waiver rules and regulations, meet the philosophy of CQL, and ensure services provided are maintained at or above the standard of quality expected at the St. Louis Arc. This position will collaborate with others to grow and develop their team as program needs evolve.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s Degree in Human Service or related field preferred; Bachelor’s degree will be considered with experience
- Agency provided training including CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration Level 1, Mandt and other online and classroom based training
- Valid Driver’s License and current Auto Insurance
- Five or more years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a residential setting
- Three or more years of supervisory experience
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Knowledge of DMH funding guidelines
- Leadership abilities related to conflict resolution, team building, and empowerment
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated commitment to always communicate in a positive and professional manner
- Good judgement, discretion, and confidentiality
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
Work Environment consists of a typical office setting using typical office equipment, with standard business hours Monday through Friday, also:
- Participation in on-call rotation required
- Evenings and weekends may be required based on needs of location
- Equipment used may vary by location and by individual, but may include a wheelchair, walker, gait belt, Hoyer Lift, medical bed, assistance technology for communication, etc.
