Campbell House Museum
The Campbell House Museum is a historic house museum located in downtown St. Louis. Built in 1851, the Campbell House was the home of renowned fur trader and entrepreneur Robert Campbell and his family from 1854 until 1938. The museum contains hundreds of original Campbell possessions including furniture, paintings, clothing, letters, carriages. Campbell House is ranked as the #1 Museum in St. Louis by Trip Advisor, the world’s leading travel website.
The weekend manager is a critical part the Museum’s operations and lives on-site. The position is part-time, requiring approximately 12-13 hours of work per week. The weekend manager works with volunteers and give tours to the public. The desired candidate will have strong interpersonal skills in interacting with a museum staff, volunteers, donors and enjoys interaction with the public. Experience in a museum setting is ideal. This position reports to the Executive Director.
