Saint Louis Abbey and Saint Louis Priory School
The Saint Louis Abbey and Saint Louis Priory School are seeking a self-driven and highly organized Director of Leadership and Planned Giving. The Director of Leadership and Planned Giving leads the strategy and execution of the major gifts program of the Saint Louis Abbey and Saint Louis Priory School. This position will be responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and ongoing stewardship of significant gifts to support the long-term sustainability of the Abbey and School. This position will focus primarily on significant gifts to endowments, testamentary gifts, and other planned gifts.
The ideal candidate will possess three to five years of successful leadership-level and planned gifts, or comparable experience. Skills and abilities needed for the role include exceptional written and oral communication skills, genuine and sincere interest in and ability to interact with a broad range of constituents, ability to problem solve, to create and implement prospect strategies, and to engage with school and community partners.
Minimum qualifications for the role include – a bachelor’s degree, ability to travel within the United States, including a valid driver’s license, and successful completion of pre-employment criminal background checks.
