Craft Alliance

The Registrar is responsible for the scheduling and coordination of Craft Alliance’s Education and Studio programs. Under the leadership of the Education & Programs Director, they assist in designing classes, managing studio schedules, and facilitating other programming associated with the education program. They manage our database communications for students and faculty, the scheduling of all studios, and work closely with faculty in the scheduling and development of their classes. The Registrar prepares tuition and enrollment reports, schedules course evaluations, and creates other reports on education programs as needed. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Strong Candidates will have:

* Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree
* Strong oral and written communication skills – required
* Experience with studio programs or art processes-preferred
* Experience working with systems such DonorView or similar software or the ability to learn.
* Strong customer service skills
* Strong computer skills – required
* Experience in a non-profit agency – preferred
* Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Google Suite, specifically Excel and Word.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Keeps high standards of Member, Student, and Faculty Relations
* Works closely with Education & Programs Director to maintain student registration in the database
* Coordinates faculty schedules with the calendar
* Develops class sessions based on previous enrollment and calendar
* Expands education offerings that include membership incentives
* Prepares and rectifies monthly deposits with the finance team
* Coordinates  with other departments to best schedule events
* Creates customized queries to pull enrollment, financial, and contact data
* Maintains systematic and structured communication with faculty
* Provides liaison and information to faculty via phone, mail, and e-mail
* Mails & emails class-related materials to Faculty and Students
* Maintains Class, Open Studio, and studio availability on the calendar
* Assists in designing the schedule for selected Community Programs
* Updates Database with all employee information
* Assists with editing and proofreading class brochures
* Maintains systematic and structured communication with members of the Programs, and Development team on studio availability
* Assists with training Front of House team members on registration protocols
* Maintains class schedules, studio schedules, and studio availabilities
* Assists with special events or programming – when needed
* Accepts other duties as assigned

Relationships:

* Reports to the Education & Programs Director
* Works closely with the Studio Coordinator, Community Programs Manager, and Marketing & Communications Manager
