About Missouri Abortion Fund:
Founded in 2014 as Gateway Women’s Access Fund, Missouri Abortion Fund (MOAF) is a non-profit providing public education and support for people needing reproductive health services, primarily by providing financial assistance for Missouri residents who cannot afford the full cost of abortion care. MOAF’s working board is primarily located in St. Louis, MO. The clinics we primarily work with are located in Illinois and Kansas.
Key Responsibilities
- Organizes and maintains financial records in QuickBooks Online including data entry and management for outgoing payments and deposits.
- Processes payroll.
- Reconciles bank accounts on a monthly basis.
- Provides reports as needed to MOAF staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to prepare, review, understand, and analyze financial and budget records.
- Ability to follow complex, multi-step procedures to complete tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to abortion access.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior nonprofit accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Experience with Bloomerang or Kindful CRM.
Position Details
This is a part-time, remote position averaging 10 hours per week, paid at $25/hour. The ideal candidate will be in or near St. Louis, Missouri to be able to attend in-person training with MOAF staff and board members, as well as occasional in-person meetings. This position reports to the Executive Director.
