Connections to Success

The Regional Program Director will oversee and manage the implementation and growth of programs within their designated region. This role is responsible for ensuring that programs align with the organization’s mission, goals, and strategic plan. The Regional Program Director will work closely with local staff, community partners, and stakeholders to achieve program objectives and ensure the highest quality of service delivery.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
1. Program Management:
o Develop, implement, and oversee regional programs and initiatives.
o Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
o Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, adjusting as necessary.

2. Team Leadership:
o Supervise, mentor, and support regional program staff.
o Facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.
o Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

3. Strategic Planning:
o Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization’s strategic plan.
o Identify opportunities for program expansion and innovation.
o Align regional program goals with the overall mission of the organization.

4. Partnership Development:
o Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funders.
o Represent the organization at regional meetings, conferences, and events.
o Collaborate with local organizations to enhance program impact.

5. Financial Management:
o Develop and manage regional program budgets.
o Ensure compliance with funding requirements and organizational policies.
o Assist in grant writing and fundraising efforts as needed.

6. Grant Management:
o Oversee state and federal grants, including ensuring compliance, and accurate reporting.
o Ensure timely submission of grant reports.
o Monitor grant-funded programs to ensure adherence to funding requirements.
o Work with finance and program staff to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of grant expenditures.

7. Reporting and Compliance:
o Prepare and submit regular program reports to senior leadership.
o Ensure programs comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date program records and documentation.

Experience & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution (4 years of social service case management experience may be used in lieu of education).
• At least 2 years’ experience working with high-risk populations to include those reentering the workforce from incarceration and low-income populations.
• Proven experience in team leadership and staff development.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and grant management.
• Experience with state and federal grant management, including application, compliance, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with the region’s social, economic, and cultural landscape.
• Commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.

Relationships:
• Reports to: VP of Community and Impact
• Internal Relationships: All Staff, Volunteers, Mentors, Participants, Board of Directors
• External Relationships: Membership Sites, Marketing Agencies, Potential Volunteers,
Participants, and other Stakeholders

Additional Information:
This position is full-time, salaried exempt position. Employee will be eligible for full benefits including health, retirement, and vacation benefits on the first of the month following hire date.

Starting Salary Range:
$60,000 – 63,000, contingent on qualifications and experience
