Aim High St. Louis
Title: Manager of Data and Communications
Scope: year-round, part-time (25 – 30 hours per week)
Ongoing Responsibilities
● Manages the collection, accuracy, input, and reporting of student and program data
● Serves as key administrator for databases and develops tools and trainings related to its use as needed
● Manages returning and graduated student information and related data tracking
● Develops/modifies tools and processes to collect qualitative and quantitative program data
● Works with parents, partner programs, and schools to collect third party data on student progress
● Completes grant-specific data reports and supports development functions with program data as requested
● Works with Executive Director to review and develop program presentations and marketing materials
● Supports Executive Director in planning fundraising and special events for Aim High stakeholders
● Executes the drafting, editing, and delivery of monthly newsletters and mailings through Mailchimp
● Creates and manages application pipelines for Achievers, TAs, and Teachers using Ninja Forms / WordPress
● Develops and executes processes for application review with Site Directors and Assistant Site Directors
● Develops and manages collection process for Income Eligibility Forms
Summer Program-Specific Responsibilities – While this is a part-time position, it is the expectation
that all Aim High personnel work full time hours during the Aim High five-week summer program.
● Develops, communicates, and maintains attendance-tracking systems for Achievers and TAs
● Records daily attendance and communicates with teachers to ensure accuracy
● Creates and shares weekly newsletters; solicits staff and TAs for photos to incorporate
● Collects and evaluates Income Eligibility Forms
● Administers Parent, Achiever, and TA surveys
Required Qualifications
● Proficient spreadsheet and database management skills
● Familiarity and/or ability to quickly learn software (Canva, MailChimp, Google Suite, WordPress, etc.)
● Experience working for a non-profit, preferable a youth development organization
● Undergraduate degree
● Excellent writing skills
● Excellent attention to detail and great organizational skills
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills
● Ability to self-direct and work both independently as well as a member of a team

While we require on-site presence during our five-week summer program, during the normal academic year there is
some work from home flexibility.
