The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) contributes to the success of St. Louis Arc through sound fiscal management and leadership in Finance, IT and Facilities Management.  This role is critical for driving financial strategy, ensuring operational efficiency, and aligning financial and operational objectives with the agency’s mission and goals.  The successful CFO will ensure that strategic planning and departmental goals are met in the areas of:

The successful candidate will be a mission-focused and outstanding leader with these qualifications:

  • CPA certification or an MBA
  • Ten or more years of financial accounting/supervisory experience in business or in the nonprofit sector
  • Experience with project management including demonstrated successful outcomes
  • Leadership experience in an organization with multiple revenue streams and departmental budgets
  • Fundamental understanding of business operations and information technology
  • A deep understanding of organizational budgets and revenue forecasting
  • Exceptional organization skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in work requiring detail-orientation as well as big-picture strategic concepts.
  • Support for all St. Louis Arc diversity, equity and inclusion practices/initiatives

What you can expect from us:

  • A culture of Respect, Collaboration and Empowerment
  • We’ll help you help others. You’ll be an integral part of our inclusive circle of support
  • Hands-on leadership that empowers team member innovation
  • Opportunities to learn and grow, plus a competitive salary and benefits package to support your personal and professional well-being—such as health care, employer paid life insurance, our 403(b) retirement plan, and paid time off.

Join others with your impeccable interpersonal skills, good intentions, and compassion to help people.

We are planning to fill this role with a retained executive search.  If you meet the qualifications for this role, and would like to be considered, please submit your resume to Jane Pollard of Beacon Hill Financial via email at jpollard@beaconhillstaffing.com.
