Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Responsible for maximizing donor contributions of the Foundation. Working in Collaboration with the Director of Administrative Operations and the Director of Development, oversees the major gifts, planned giving and/or the annual fund to ensure that all fundraising programs are integrated strategically, aligned to move donors through a continuum of increasingly larger contributions and consistent with the vision and timelines outlined in the strategic plan.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with foundation leaders to establish goals, objectives and strategies for the fundraising efforts of the Foundation.
- Develops plans and strategies, and directs comprehensive fundraising programs, including capital and endowment campaigns, annual fund and major gift efforts.
- Supervises the development and integration of planned gift, major gift, special gift and annual fund solicitation strategies.
- Assesses the fundraising potential of the Foundation through giving history, hospital departments and programs, and guilds to make solicitation assignments.
- Institutes metrics for measuring progress toward goals and for ensuring accountability.
- Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree – Business
Experience: 5-10 years
Supervisor Experience: 5-10 years
