Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of program development experience.
- Minimum of 5 years successful supervisory and budget management experience.
- Experience with state licensing and voluntary accreditation preferred.
- Strong demonstrated skills to lead volunteers in effective operation of association goals.
- Strong communication, organization, crisis management and marketing skills.

Essential Functions
- Enhance and implement organizational vision as established in the Strategic Plan.
- Develop participation and revenue growth strategies for program areas.
- Foster a continuous quality improvement culture and ensure ongoing programmatic excellence.
- Lead program management teams in core program areas including strategic direction, quality and pricing.
- Demonstrate consistent quality of finance and administration, communications and systems; recommend timelines and resources needed to achieve the program goals.
- Attract, develop, coach, and retain high-performance team members, empowering them to elevate their level of responsibility, span of control, and performance.
- Provide leadership in development of inter-team communication and cohesiveness, sustaining culture and supporting staff during organizational growth.
- Lead or assist the association’s direction for child abuse prevention ensuring the association maintains it accreditation status.
- Work directly with the Association Executive Directors of Childcare to assist and support all licensed and licensed-exempt child care programs to meet voluntary accreditation and ensure Missouri and Illinois State guidelines are met.
- Responsible for staff and volunteer training, evaluations, staff recruitment and retention.
- Model and possess strong community relations skills, which create and maintain strong networking, community support and collaboration locally, statewide and nationally.
- Research, assist in development and administration for state, local and federal grants.
- Lead and support the Inclusion Adaptive Support programs to ensure growth, strong partnerships, development and compliance is met at all times.
- Manage relationships with partner organizations.
- Performs all other duties as assigned
