Job Title: Program Director

Reports to: Director of Operations                

Effective Date: 10.17.2024

Job Summary:

Program Director will oversee LDG’s community equipping efforts, develop systems for community partners, volunteers, neighbors, and refugees.

Typical Duties:

  • Oversee programming and compliance for LIHTC and other housing supporting services.
  • Develop and maintain systems for Care Teams to access the social service system.
    • Create KPIs to indicate growth of programs overtime.
    • Track interactions with neighbors, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Assist neighbors, volunteers, and community partners in:
    • Navigating and accessing social service organizations,
    • Implementing care team plans
  • Create, coordinate and provide training opportunities for block captains and care teams.
  • Coordinate and facilitate volunteer activities and recruitment.
    Develop and oversee refugee housing program.
  • Oversee and mentor interns
  • Assist the Executive Director and Director of Operations in:
    • Grant writing and selective fundraising efforts.
    • Presenting on behalf of LDG at community, church, and school events
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or more
  • 5 or more years of community engagement experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
