DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

Mosaic Health is a thriving nonprofit organization that has served the St. Louis Metro area for over 37 years. Join an amazing team committed to making a difference in our community. In this low-pressure role of Director of Development, you will work with the leadership team to acquire and retain donors. We seek someone capable of using their development experience to take Mosaic to the next level.

You are the ideal candidate as the Director of Development if you:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, or related field
  • Have experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or related field
  • Have developed speaking, including public speaking, and writing skills
  • Have the ability to secure major gifts
  • Are highly organized and attention-to-detail
  • Manage your time and prioritize tasks efficiently

    SCHEDULE: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
    SALARY: $75K – $80k
    BENEFITS: 15 days of PTO, 6 paid holidays, paid sick days, optional unpaid time off, health insurance
    RELATIONSHIP: Reports to Executive Director

    You would be responsible for:

  • Assisting in directing and achieving strategic goals of a development/fundraising plan
  • Identifying new life-affirming members of our community to develop, cultivate, and maintain authentic relationships (acquisition)
  • Establishing relationships with current supporters and managing existing portfolios (retention)
  • Communicating Mosaic Health’s vision, mission, and goals to supporters through personal meetings, phone calls, emails, and texts
  • Speaking with supporters about their philanthropic goals (including planned giving)
  • Continually acknowledging supporters for their gifts and commitment to the mission
  • Compiling retention and acquisition reports, among other metrics
  • Seeking, writing, and submitting grant applications that further the mission of Mosaic Health
