Development Director

Isaiah 58 Ministries is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented part-time Development Director to support our fundraising and outreach initiatives. This role involves collaborating with our Executive Director and Capital Campaign team to enhance and expand donor relationships, implement fundraising strategies, and promote Isaiah 58 Ministries’ mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities

·       Assist in the development and execution of ongoing fundraising campaigns and events. This includes creating appeal letters and ensuring smooth execution of mailings.

·       Identify and research potential donors, grant opportunities, and sponsorships.

·       Maintain and update the donor database, ensuring accurate records of contributions.

·       Oversee the preparation of materials for donor communications, including newsletters, annual reports and other materials as needed.

·       Collaborate with team members to develop marketing and outreach strategies.

·       Attend community events to represent the organization and build relationships.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·       Experience in fundraising or development required.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team (including volunteers).

·       Passion for our mission and commitment to making a positive impact on the St. Louis community.

Hours

·       Part-time position, 20 hours/wk.

·       Flexible schedule, potential for working remotely. Some evenings and weekends as needed.
