Job Title: Service Insights Project Coordinator

General Description/Position Summary:
The Service Insights Project Coordinator understands the importance of the St. Louis Area Foodbank’s efforts to build strong sustainable relationships with our partner network and the neighbors we serve. The Service Insights Project Coordinator is responsible to gather and utilize data to tell the diverse story of our 26-county partner network. The Service Insights Project Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of our electronic neighbor data collection tool including implementation at partner sites, ensuring accurate data collection, creating reports for partners and the Foodbank, continuous process improvements and ensuring internal cross-departmental collaboration. The Coordinator will provide partner support by building and delivering virtual and in-person trainings, empowering partners to collect distribution and neighbor demographic data and ensuring they have a high level of understanding of the data obtained. In addition, the Coordinator will create and maintain reports for the Foodbank to provide a clear picture of the communities we serve and how we can best support them. This data collection will aid the Foodbank in understanding the trends and conditions that affect hunger throughout our network and assist us in achieving our mission of a nutritionally secure Missouri and Illinois.
Objectives:
- Support network partners to ensure an unduplicated count of neighbors served, streamlined distribution reporting process and the collection of real time data to support cross-departmental efforts impacting the entire Foodbank.
- Ensure partners have the necessary training, tools, and technology to effectively implement and deploy the Service Insights tool.
- Ensure partners and the Foodbank team can effectively interpret the data collected and use it to grow their capacity and services.
- Building relationships with our 26-county partner network.
- Serve as the Foodbank’s Subject Matter Expert on the Service Insights tool.
Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with project team, develop and maintain implementation plan to rollout and implement Service Insights tools throughout the St. Louis Area Foodbank partner network.
- Consult with partners on the utilization of data collected to optimize their network resources for capacity building at agency level.
- Support design and document partner and team member trainings and track training progress.
- Ensure implementation and training provides excellent customer service, encouragement, and support to increase utilization and deployment of data collection tools.
- Incorporate partner feedback into rollout and continually improve processes.
- Building relationships with our partners to offer ongoing support to implement new processes.
- Ensure security and privacy for neighbors by managing appropriate user roles and permissions.
- Create models to identify trends, track changes across time, measure efficacy and recommend evolutions.
- Ensure partners understand compliance rules and are using provided materials and postings to adhere to data collection standards.
- Work with project team to support the internal utilization of the data collected to optimize resources and streamline efforts. This includes providing data for grants, third party requests and other internal data needs.
- Review data for inconsistencies including duplicates, typos, and overuse of anonymous visits to ensure data integrity.
- Monitor data for partner compliance with data hygiene best practices and address issues with partners as they arise.
- Monitor, report, and make recommendations on edits needed to the program budget.
- Consult on hardware purchases and other technology needs for optimal Service Insights set-up and usage at sites.
- Assist in executing and updating annual department work plan, including budgets, calendars, goals, and tasks.
- Work cross functionally to provide data and stories to support and reinforce philanthropic and marketing efforts. Responsible for ensuring grant deliverables are met.
- Incorporate the use of volunteers, interns, and AmeriCorps members into the deployment of Service Insights and provide appropriate oversight and direction.
- Attend Service Insights related trainings and workshops as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, economics, social science research, business administration, education, or another related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in sales, customer service, training or adult education.
- Bilingual a plus.
- Experience in project and relationship management.
- Passion for the Foodbank mission and the ability to demonstrate SLAFB’s Core Values: Stewardship, Teamwork, Agility and Respect
- Strong analytical skills and customer focus.
- Communicating and translating data for partner impact.
- Strong and proven understanding of data cleanup challenges, data management strategies, and logical database design.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and in person and remote presentation skills.
- Ability to deliver presentations and reports that include technical information.
- Demonstrated success in team environments as well as competencies in adaptability, collaboration, and communication.
- Excellent organization skills and detailed oriented.
- Self-starter with superior problem solving and conflict management skills.
- Strong sense of business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail, ability to handle interruptions, maintains focus on tasks and produce accurate work.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Must have reliable transportation with proof of driver’s license and insurance and be willing to travel throughout jurisdiction with occasional overnight stays.
- Must be able to pass drug screening and criminal background check.
Work Schedule:
- Monday – Friday onsite at the Foodbank facility and in the community as needed.
- However, flexibility will be granted as appropriate in accordance with the Foodbank’s Remote Work Policy.
- Occasional weekend (Saturday/Sunday) or evening hours may be required.
- Meeting attendance may require overnight travel.
Physical Requirements:
The Service Insights Project Coordinator is expected to spend time onsite at the Foodbank as well as spend significant time in the community at partner agencies and at direct distribution events.
Requirements include:
- Walking to and from the corporate office to the warehouse, both of which are on the Foodbank campus.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
