We are seeking a Content & Multimedia Strategist to assist in the amplification of our vision, mission, and impact across the community. The ideal candidate joining our integrated strategic communications and events team will be collaborative, curious, creative, and outgoing. The selected candidate will complement our collaborative nature, strengthen our digital communications, and help our donors enrich lives, save lives, and transform health care.

Job Description:

The Content & Multimedia Strategist is a creative storyteller and content producer who helps develop and distribute content across FBJH channels including our website, e-newsletters, and social media channels. The successful candidate possesses a keen understanding of all forms of digital media and will be responsible for helping align and synchronize messages across our communications channels.

This potential teammate will collaborate across the strategic communications department to assist in the development, execution, and promotion of the content strategy, including video, writing, and photography assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Fulfills editorial, production, and implementation duties for social media, newsletter, news, and other digital publications in collaboration with content strategy and brand guidelines set by Strategic Communications.
  • Maintains consistent messaging across channels strengthening our credibility and brand.
  • Assists with video and photography needs for social media & digital publications, including supporting needs related to hospital & clinical photography and event photography.
  • Creates email marketing & social media content then executes across channels while cultivating relationships online and broadening our audience.
  • Helps design and build digital campaigns increasing engagement with donors, partners, and prospective donors.
  • Writes, designs, and edits for digital channels.
  • Maintains and optimizes communications with social and email audiences.
  • Coordinates, improves, and maintains organization of digital assets and Strategic Communications processes.
  • Communicates with donors, prospects, and others in response to digital inquiries and commentary received via email and social media.

Qualifications:

  • Experience creating and packaging compelling content for publication across multiple channels.
  • Proficiency in graphic creation tools, social media management tools, and email marketing platforms.
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, is a creative and critical thinker, and excels at time management and organization.
  • Passion for nonprofit marketing and publishing.

o   Knowledge and experience with digital platforms including content and customer relationship management systems.

o   Experience and interest in health care

During any given week, you might be:

  • Adapting a Foundation donor report for digital publication and distribution.
  • Crafting content and visual assets for our digital newsletter to raise awareness and funds for the Foundation.
  • Attending a Foundation event to capture and post engaging social media content for our followers.
  • Communicating with followers on social media to enhance and grow our audience.
  • Building and circulating a digital event invitation to colleagues for approval.
  • Attending a donor check presentation or tour to ensure successful documentation (e.g. photos, video, and consent forms).
  • Sharing a piece of Foundation news via BJC’s intranet.
  • Building an impact page or a news story for our website.
  • Circulating a digital event invitation to colleagues for approval.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of a new digital campaign.
  • Brainstorming with team on the execution of a multimedia project.
  • Collaborating with the team to amplify awareness of a future Foundation event.
  • Updating web content to ensure it is current, accurate, and optimized.
