Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Materials & Operations Coordinator to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. This role is responsible for overseeing weekly shipments of educational materials to schools, ensuring accurate packing and delivery, and assisting with basic administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and able to work independently while supporting the smooth operation of our growing nonprofit.
In addition to shipping and administrative responsibilities, there may be opportunities to contribute to projects within the organization if interested.
Contract Details
- Part-time, approximately 10–15 hours per week.
- Contract runs through December 2026, with the possibility of renewal.
- Compensation: $18-20 per hour, depending on experience.
- Flexible scheduling for administrative tasks; material packing and drop-offs must be done weekly.
- Additional project work may be available if the candidate is interested.
Responsibilities
- Pack and prepare educational materials for weekly shipments.
- Drop off shipments with the carrier (UPS/USPS/FedEx).
- Maintain an organized inventory of materials and supplies.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, email communication, and scheduling.
- Review recent orders weekly to identify high-priority contacts for follow-up and flag them for manager/director outreach.
- Provide support for program operations as needed.
- Opportunities to contribute to projects and program initiatives, help with presentations/workshops, with room to grow in the organization if interested.
