STAGES St. Louis

STAGES St. Louis, a non-profit Musical Theatre company, seeks a part-time Development Assistant to manage Donor Perfect database, input and acknowledge gifts, and provide support for donor events.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage Donor Database
  • Implement best practices for Donor Perfect (CRM Database)
  • Enter all pledges and donations
  • Generate acknowledgement letters
  • Invoice pledged gifts
  • Prepare renewal letters
  • Develop an advanced understanding of the database to run segmented donor reports
  • Download and verify gift records to balance with the Finance Department
  • Support for Events
  • Prepare VIP / Producer’s Circle lists during the show Season (June – Oct)
  • Track registration details for fundraising and donor events

Creative/Design

  • Creation of collateral to market/communicate current Development events and programs
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Personal Qualities

  • Excellent writing skills
  • Reliable

Requirements

  • Highly computer literate – experience with a CRM preferred
  • Excellent communications skills – especially writing
  • Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, development, or nonprofit work
  • Experience using CRM Databases (Donor Perfect, Raiser’s Edge, etc.)
  • Basic graphic design skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with programs such as Jotform, GiveSmart, etc.

Position Specifics 

  • Salary: $18/hour
  • Year round, part-time 20-25 hours per week.
  • Start Date: Early March 2026
