Job Summary:
The Project Manager will serve as the primary partner to a project owner from initial project planning through project closeout. He/she will be responsible for ensuring that project needs and goals are clearly defined and understood by all team members, so that projects are completed on time and scope. In addition, the Project Manager will help balance the workload of the Project Management team and will play a key role in helping determine project management processes and best practices for the organization.
The Project Manager will perform his/her duties consistent with the LHM’s strategic plans, policies and other guidelines, and with applicable laws.
Major Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, deliverables, and risks
- Define project tasks and identify required resources, both internally and externally
- Assemble and coordinate project team members, based on project needs
- Facilitate good communication and teamwork among project team members.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor project timelines
- Continuously monitor and report on progress of the project to relevant stakeholders
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Draft and maintain appropriate project records
- When issues arise, troubleshoot and clearly articulate proposed solutions to the project owner and/or work directly with team members to remedy issues
- Analyze project workflows to identify efficiency opportunities
- Assist with other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant experience.
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or equivalent project management experience, a minimum of 3 years.
- 3 or more years’ experience with project management information systems (PMIS).
- Supportive of and enthusiastic about LHM’s unique mission and ministry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with virtual teams.
- Experience working with multiple cross functional teams.
Location: Remote, but incumbent must be willing to travel to St. Louis 2-4 times per year.
