Forest Park Forever
Coming off the successful completion of the $130M Forever campaign and with a growing Annual Fund and donor database, Forest Park Forever is seeking a Manager, Individual Giving to join its Development Team. The Manager, Individual Giving will provide oversight for leadership annual giving as well as manage a portfolio of major gift prospects. This individual is responsible for securing philanthropic gifts and developing prospect strategies including cultivation, solicitation and follow-up activities with major gift prospects and donors. Qualifications include Bachelor’s degree, 5-7 years minimum work experience in major gifts (or equivalent combination of education and experience), exceptional relationship-management skills, experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar donor database, and proven ability and willingness to solicit and secure major gifts. The successful candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to build relationships with individuals from various backgrounds, strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to complete multiple tasks and a high volume of work.
