St. Joseph's Academy

Overview:

St. Joseph’s Academy is a college preparatory school in Frontenac, Missouri sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet with student enrollment of 550 and 90 faculty and staff. Founded in 1840, the mission of the Academy is to provide quality Catholic education for young women in an environment that challenges them to grow in faith, knowledge, and respect for self and others. Our community expects these young women to make a profound impact in the world. St. Joseph’s Academy is committed to developing young women to be “Values-Driven Leaders” and upholds the school’s motto, “Not I, But We.”

The Enrollment Management Office works to identify, engage and retain mission-appropriate young women as students attending St. Joseph’s Academy.  The Enrollment Management Office includes a Director, Associate Admissions Director, and Diversity Outreach Coordinator.  The Director of Enrollment Management works to oversee operations and strategic management, as well as working side-by-side with the Associate Admissions Director and Diversity Outreach Coordinator on daily recruitment activities.  The office is team-based, with each member supporting the other in enrollment goals.

Position Summary:

This position provides outreach between St. Joseph’s Academy and prospective students/families with an emphasis on outreach to under-represented populations. The responsibilities of this role will focus on outreach activities to generate interest and connection to St. Joseph’s Academy.  Specific responsibilities include planning and execution of presentations and events in communities with high percentages of students of color, regular communication with prospective students of color, planning and execution of marketing activities surrounding St. Joe’s diversity initiatives.  The Enrollment Management Office has the specific goal of attracting and retaining qualified applicants, based on the goals set forth in the Board’s enrollment management strategic plan.  This position is a 30-hour per week position with night and weekend responsibilities.  Previous experience performing in a similar capacity recommended.  This position could be expanded to full time in accord with Board strategic decisions.
