Endangered Wolf Center (AZA Member)
Status: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Job Summary:
Responsible for answering phones, performing data entry, tracking and recording revenue, booking reservations, overseeing logistics of programs/events, resolving guest issues and complaints both onsite and online, greeting guests as they arrive, sending gift certificates in response to requests and other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time, 40 hour-per-week with benefits position, which requires weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the “voice of the Center” to people who call and email. Provide excellent customer service when answering the phones and communicating with guests.
- Oversee day-to-day office duties of the Center, including taking reservations, performing data entry, tracking, and recording revenue, taking messages, answering questions and more.
- Cross departmental communication
- Booking on-site and off-site programming
- Handle registration for events
- Respond to online reviews such as TripAdvisor
- Collect and organize volunteer applications, update volunteer contact information
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Education Manager
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Ability and willingness to be flexible with tasks
- Willingness to master our online reservation system
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Office, and Excel
- Flexible Schedule
- Willingness to participate in our Docent Training course if not already completed
- Able to establish and maintain good working relationships with other departments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two-year college degree (preferred but not required)
