Missouri Mid-South United Church of Christ
The Missouri Mid-South Conference United Church of Christ is seeking a part-time Communications Specialist to manage communication. The ideal candidate will have experience with email marketing software and website design. Experience with non-profit organizations is preferred.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain, develop, update, and distribute the weekly eCourier newsletter, conference bereavement notices, and miscellaneous notifications as needed via email marketing software.
· Oversee and update Conference website.
· Create graphics for development of brochures, flyers, announcements for conference as needed.
· Develop and oversee social media platforms for the Conference.
· Coordinate Conference stories through ongoing communication with local Churches, Covenanted Ministry teams, and Conference staff.
· Maintain and update accurate constant contact email lists.
· Develop and send bereavement notifications to the entire Conference when necessary.
Qualifications:
· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and deadline adherence
· Knowledge of, and experience with, creation and use of graphics; all social media platforms; email marketing software; website design and development
· Ability and willingness to be flexible with tasks and schedule
· Able to establish and maintain good working relationships with members of the conference and conference staff
