Sunshine Ministries
Sunshine Ministries, a Christian urban outreach center, is seeking a teacher for our Sunshine School Program. This program serves preschool age children and focuses on sharing God’s love while teaching early learning skills and promoting positive social skills. The program meets in our beautiful, safe, and well equipped Youth and Family Center. We have a team teaching format with very low ratio of children per teacher to insure that each child receives excellent personal attention.
Sunshine School normally meets Monday through Friday, 9:00 – 3:00, and includes a school year as well as a summer program. Currently, due to the virus pandemic, we will start the school year separating the group with half of the children meeting Monday/Wednesday and the other half Tues/Thursday to accommodate distancing and while keeping our ability to give personal care and attention.
Experience, training or degree in early childhood education would be essential.
To be considered for this position a candidate must be a professing Christian living a life based on biblical principles, drug and tobacco free, reliable and trustworthy.
This is a full-time position. Salary is competitive and will be commensurate with skills and experience.
