Washington University in St. Louis Catholic Student Center

The Director of Operations at the Washington University Catholic Student Center (CSC) oversees and provides leadership for the three areas at the CSC: advancement, campus ministry, and operations, while also helping to create a vibrant and engaging environment for undergraduate, graduate and professional students, and community members.

1.  Operations & Financial Oversight: responsible for the facilities and budget; supervises operations staff; develops and monitors operating plan; serves as HR liaison with the Archdiocese; oversees hiring and annual performance appraisals.

2.  Supervises the Director of Ministry and his team responsible for recruiting students, spiritual guidance, and a myriad of programs, retreats, and activities.

3. Supervises the Director of Advancement and his team responsible for fund raising efforts and events.

4.  Fosters and maintains relationships with members of the WashingtonU and St. Louis communities, CSC friends, and other Newman Centers across the country.

5.  Works with the entire Catholic Student Center Staff and Advancement Council to develop a compelling strategic plan and enhance overall organizational effectiveness.

Minimum Requirements: Undergraduate degree; leadership experience with supervisory and budgetary responsibilities; excellent project and people management skills; experience working with diverse individuals and groups; commitment to the mission of the CSC and the Catholic Church.
