Title: Temporary Partner and Sponsorship Coordinator
Salary Range: $25.00 – $30.00 an hour depending upon experience and qualifications
Job Status: Part-Time, Temporary
Regular Schedule: 30 hours a week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. CT to 2:00 p.m. CT, starting June 22, 2026, and ending January 29, 2027. Hours may be flexible depending upon the candidate’s schedule and business needs.
Office Environment: Our office is located in the Creve Coeur area. It is a hybrid working environment (majority remote and occasional in-office work, at the discretion of the Director, Marketing and Partnerships and BGS Executive Director)
Location: Candidates in the St. Louis, MO area strongly preferred. Consideration may be given to remote candidates based on qualifications.

Position Overview:
Beta Gamma Sigma is seeking a highly motivated, organized, self-starter to fill the role of Temporary Partner and Sponsorship Coordinator. This role is intended to provide interim support for key partnership and sponsorship functions, with an expected duration of approximately 6 months.
In this role, you will report to the Director of Marketing and Partnerships and work closely with cross-functional teams to support the development and growth of strategic partnerships and sponsorships on behalf of the organization. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, conducting market research, nurturing prospective partners, evaluating existing partnerships, and analyzing partnership performance data.
We are a small, collaborative team that values open communication and the free flow of ideas to better serve our global membership. The ideal candidate is innovative, self-motivated, and comfortable managing deadlines in a dynamic environment.
This temporary role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact, with the potential to transition into a longer-term position based on individual performance and organizational needs.
Role Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Director of Marketing and Partnerships to develop strategies for sponsorships and partners.
- Identify, cultivate, and secure strategic partnerships with corporations, universities, and other nonprofits aligned with the mission and goals of the organization.
- Develop a deep understanding of potential partners’ needs and priorities to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Assist with the development, messaging, hosting, and/or moderation of partner webinars.
- Serve as the primary contact for potential partners and coordinate introductory meetings and discussions.
- Serve as a secondary point of contact along with the Director of Marketing and Partnerships for current partners.
- Aid in the review of agreements and contracts for new partners, at the request of the Director of Marketing and Partnerships.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating partnership performance, tracking key metrics and outcomes to assess impact and inform future strategies.
- Provide ongoing analysis and recommendations on business development opportunities.
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide updates on partnership activities, successes, and challenges.
- Conduct outreach to locate sponsors for BGS programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management, communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Experience in partnership development or business development within the education or nonprofit sector preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of Basecamp or similar project management software is a plus
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software preferred, but not required
