Major Gifts Manager
Are you passionate about building meaningful relationships and inspiring philanthropy that transforms lives? We’re seeking an experienced Major Gifts Manager to join one of the strongest fundraising teams supporting SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of approximately 125–140 donors, cultivate deep relationships with families and community partners, and secure five-, six-, and seven-figure gifts that directly support life-changing programs and care for children and families. You’ll play a key role in advancing a $150M campaign while working alongside a collaborative, mission-driven team that truly supports one another.
What you’ll do:
- Build and steward long-term relationships with major donors
- Lead strategic outreach and donor visits to align philanthropic interests with hospital priorities
- Independently manage a full donor portfolio while navigating ambiguity and change
- Work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends for donor engagement
What we’re looking for:
• 5+ years of major gifts fundraising experience
• Proven success securing significant gifts
• Resilience, adaptability, and comfort working independently
• Healthcare or large-institution fundraising experience preferred
