Title: Partner and Sponsorship Coordinator
Salary Range: $25.00 – $35.00 an hour depending upon experience and qualifications
Job Status: Part Time
Regular Schedule: 30 hours a week, Monday-Friday, 8am CT- 2pm CT, may be flexible depending upon candidate’s schedule and business needs
Office Environment: Hybrid working (majority remote and occasional in-office work, at the discretion of the Associate Director, Marketing and Partnerships and BGS Executive Director)
Location: Candidates in the St. Louis, MO area strongly preferred. Consideration may be given to remote candidates based on qualifications.

Who we are seeking:
Beta Gamma Sigma is seeking a highly motivated self-starter to fill the role of Partner and Sponsorship Coordinator. In this role, you will report to the Associate Director of Marketing and Partnerships and work closely with other teams to help build strategic partnerships and sponsors on behalf of the organization. This will include but is not limited to market research, nurturing potential partnerships, evaluating current partnerships, and analyzing partnership data. We are a small, tight-knit team that values communication and a free flow of ideas that can help our organization reach out to all BGS members across the globe. The ideal candidate is one who is innovative, self-motivated, and works well with deadlines.
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new potential partners.
- Identify, cultivate, and secure strategic partnerships with corporations, universities, and other nonprofits aligned with the mission and goals of the organization.
- Develop a deep understanding of potential partners’ needs and priorities to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Coordinate with the Associate Director, Marketing and Partnerships to develop strategies for sponsorships and partners.
- Serve as the primary contact for potential partners and coordinate introductory meetings and discussions.
- Serve as a secondary point of contact along with the Associate Director, Marketing and Partnerships for current partners.
- Aid in reviewing agreements and contracts for new partners, per the request of the Associate Director, Marketing and Partnerships.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating partnership performance, tracking key metrics and outcomes to assess impact and inform future strategies.
- Provide ongoing analysis and recommendations on business development opportunities.
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide updates on partnership activities, successes, and challenges.
- Conduct outreach to locate sponsors for BGS programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management, communications, or a related field preferred, equivalent experience considered
- Experience in partnership development or business development within the education or nonprofit sector preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite
- Understanding of Basecamp or similar project management software is a plus
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management software preferred but not required
