Job Title: Director of Operations
Ministry: Mental Health and Substance Use Service Line (QOPC/SLC)

Position Summary
The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational aspects of the Mental Health and Substance Use Service Line (Queen of Peace Center and Saint Louis Counseling). This role ensure compliance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the ministries and assists in writing and updated procedures. This position works closely with Senior Leadership and ministry directors.
Overview and Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Mental Health and Substance Use Service Line, ensuring compliance towards relevant non-clinical rules, regulations and policies and procedures.
- Ensures the Emergency Plans remain up to date and accurate, as well as, disseminated and implemented across service line. This would include training coworkers and ensuring drills are occurring as necessary.
- Oversee the day-to-day operational management of all service line facilities and property, including maintenance coordination, safety inspections, security systems and vendor performance to ensure all environments remain safe, functional and mission aligned.
- Manage relationships with operational vendors and service providers, including compliance monitoring, performance evaluations and ensuring cost-effective service delivery across service line.
- Serve as liaison between clinical, finance, quality, EHR manager and EHR vendors to ensure our systems are meeting ministry needs, maintaining functionality and producing the data reports needed
- Work closely with CCSTL Central Office and Archdiocese IT department to ensure we have necessary equipment for daily operations of the ministry and coworkers, including procurement, deployment, troubleshooting and lifecycle management of hardware and software needed by the service line.
- Oversee inventory control systems and asset tracking for office supplies, technology, furniture, and facilities equipment to ensure resource availability, minimize waste, and support budget adherence.
- Under the direction of Senior Leadership and in coordination with appropriate departments, create, revise and disseminate operating procedures, ensuring alignment with service line goals and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Oversee operational onboarding and offboarding processes, including workspace readiness, technology and equipment setup, and communication with IT and other relevant departments to ensure smooth process.
- Identify and mitigate areas of operational risk to the ministry and provide reports to leadership on operations and areas of improvement.
- Represent the MH/SUD service line and CCSTL in internal and external partnerships, stakeholder meetings, committees and community collaborations as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
- Experience:
- At least two years of supervisory experience
- At least two years working in a healthcare operations role, preferably behavioral health.
- History of developing, implementing, leading and managing multiple projects
