Operations Assistant
Part-Time | August–May | $17/hour

Kids Vision for Life St. Louis provides free vision screenings, eye exams, and glasses to thousands of students each year. Behind every successful clinic is a dedicated operations team that makes sure every detail — from consent forms to glasses delivery runs seamlessly.
We’re looking for a reliable, organized, and compassionate individual to support our daily operations. If you love keeping things organized, managing details, and being part of a purpose-driven team, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
Manage incoming and outgoing communication — answering calls, emails, and messages from parents, nurses, and community partners.
Organize digital consent forms, records, and referral documentation.
Scan, label, alphabetize, and upload documents into KVFL software to keep student records up to date.
Track referrals and update the Washington University Children’s Eye Center log.
Assist with mail, deliveries, and general administrative needs.
Support the Optical Lab Technician by preparing glasses for shipment, logging replacements, and ensuring accurate tracking.
Receive and quality-check new glasses orders, clean and label them, and prepare for distribution.
Restock vans and office supplies so the field team has everything they need.
What We’re Looking For
Strong organizational skills and sharp attention to detail.
Excellent communication, professional, kind, and responsive.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
Comfort using basic technology (Dropbox, spreadsheets, email — training provided).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional local errands.
Able to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
Bonus: experience in healthcare, office administration, or customer service.
