Arts As Healing, a Missouri 501(c)(3) organization seeks an Executive Director

AAH Mission and Program

Arts as Healing (AAH) is an innovative, St. Louis-based non-profit organization that provides free art lessons and a variety of other educational activities to cancer patients and those with chronic illnesses. The AAH program has brought joy and relief to participants wherever our classes are held, whether community classes at the AAH Studio in Maryland Heights or hospital chairside or waiting room classes in chemotherapy units.  Our program has transformed hospital infusion centers and waiting rooms from places where patients focus on their illness and treatment to oases where patients immerse themselves in artistic endeavors and find joy in the creative process.  Our program plays a key role in the recovery process with a major impact on the well-being and self-esteem of our patient-artists.
