KidSmart Tools for Learning
KidSmart is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to strategize, analyze, evaluate, direct, lead, and successfully manage overall success of the organization’s philanthropic relationships and stewardship efforts for the organization’s individual giving society. The Individual Major Gift Officer is a key member of the KidSmart organization and a key leader on the growing management team.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree is required, minimum of 5 years of professional level experience in fundraising. Minimum at the Director level.
-Candidates for this position will share a commitment to KidSmart’s mission, an entrepreneurial spirit, be self-motivated and results driven. He or she will bring a proven track record of successfully meeting or exceeding goals, with management experience in sales and /or development strategy, closing gifts, event planning and execution, as well as marketing.
-Experience directing fundraising plans, meeting or exceeding all annual fundraising goals, securing annual individual gifts in the range of $500-$24,999 and the ability to develop and execute high level strategies to meet annual philanthropy goals.
-Demonstrated success in maintaining and building relationships through successful stewardship. Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, including presentations in one- on- one and group settings.
-Proficient in donor database management system (Etapestry preferred), social media & web-based channels, Microsoft Suite.
-An entrepreneurial spirit and high level of creativity and innovation. A steady leader with bias for action and accountability.
