Mental Health Consultants – Clinical Quality, Research, & Program Design    

1.        Overview
Chiron Community Giving Foundation (CCGF) is committed to providing opportunities, resources, and support for organizations in the St. Louis, Missouri region seeking to make mental healthcare more accessible, effective, and equitable. CCGF provides funding for grants, professional development, and delivery of capacity-building services.

CCGF seeks proposals from qualified senior-level consultants to provide project-based technical assistance and strategic support in one or more of the following areas:

o   Clinical quality improvement and program design

o   Research, evaluation, and data strategy

o   Leadership development and organizational capacity building

o   Technical assistance and project implementation

Selected consultants will work collaboratively with established project teams using a strengths-based approach to support existing and emerging initiatives. CCGF anticipates selecting one to three consultants for engagement opportunities beginning in 2026.

2.          Potential Scope of Work
Consultants may be engaged on a project-specific basis through separate consulting agreements issued by CCGF or funded partner organizations. Scope, timelines, deliverables, and compensation will be negotiated individually for each project engagement.

Potential consulting activities may include:

o   Leadership development support related to grantmaking strategy and program implementation

o   Project management support for emerging leaders and collaborative initiatives

o   Program needs assessment and stakeholder engagement

o   Development of learning objectives, curriculum, and facilitation materials

o   Design of evaluation tools and implementation metrics

o   Research collaboration, including data collection, analysis, and dissemination

o   Development of public-facing reports and presentations for diverse audiences

3.         Consultant Agreements & Compensation
Senior-level consultants will be compensated according to approved project-specific scopes of work at the following rates:

o   Up to $150–190/hour for professional consulting work

o   $40/hour for approved project-related administrative work

Each consulting agreement will include project deliverables, timelines, invoicing expectations, and payment terms.

4.          Qualifications
Required qualifications:

o   Active Missouri professional license in good standing in a clinical mental health field

o   Proof of active professional liability insurance

o   Executive leadership experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, or academic setting

o   Demonstrated experience in research, evaluation, and data-informed decision-making

Preferred qualifications:

o   Knowledge of grants management and reporting practices

o   Experience designing training or curriculum for nonprofit or cross-sector audiences

o   Experience integrating equity-centered and trauma-informed approaches

5.          Application Process
Phase 1: Initial Screening Submission

Applicants interested in consideration for a screening interview should submit:

o   Cover letter describing interest and relevant qualifications

o   Resume or curriculum vitae, including Missouri licensure information

Phase 2: Proposal Submission for Invited Applicants

Applicants invited to continue after the screening interview may be asked to submit:

o   Updated cover letter

o   Resume/CV

o   Relevant work samples

o   Applicant statement

o   Three professional references

6.          Application Timeline & Submission Information
o   Initial application review will begin in June 2026 and continue until consulting roles are filled.

o   Selected applicants will be contacted directly regarding interview scheduling.

o   Project assignments and workload will vary based on organizational needs, consultant expertise, and funding availability.
