Manager, Programs Marketing & Partnerships
Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000 Annually – Depending upon experience and qualifications
Job Status: Full-Time, Permanent, Exempt
Hours: 37.5 hour a week, Monday-Friday, 8am CT- 4pm CT
Office Environment: Our office is located in the Creve Coeur area. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with the majority of work performed remotely and occasional in-office collaboration at the discretion of the Director of Marketing and Partnerships and Executive Director.
Location: Candidates in the St. Louis, MO area strongly preferred. Consideration may be given to remote candidates based on qualifications.
Compensation: Salary & full benefits
- Paid Time Off: BGS employees can accrue 20 days of PTO during their first year of employment. This will increase to 30 days of PTO once an employee has reached 5 or more years with the organization.
- 403(b) Retirement Plan: BGS will match any 5% contribution to this plan at 7.5% after one year of employment.
- Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance: Health and Vision are covered by Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Dental is covered by Ameritas. BGS pays 80% of the premium and the employee pays 20%.

Position Overview
Beta Gamma Sigma is seeking an experienced, creative, and relationship-focused professional to serve as our Manager, Programs Marketing & Partnerships.
This role combines strategic program marketing with partnership and sponsorship development to help expand the reach of Beta Gamma Sigma’s programs while generating new revenue opportunities for the organization.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Partnerships, this individual will aid in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns for BGS programs and events while also identifying, cultivating, and managing strategic partnerships.
The ideal candidate enjoys balancing creative marketing with relationship building. They are equally comfortable creating email campaigns and website content as they are meeting with prospective sponsors, managing partner deliverables, and identifying new business opportunities.
This role works closely with internal teams across Marketing, Programs, and Alumni Engagement to ensure every event and partnership contributes to the organization’s long-term strategic goals.
Primary Responsibilities
Program & Event Marketing
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications to develop comprehensive marketing plans and timelines for BGS conferences, webinars, alumni events, virtual networking sessions, and various programs.
- Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email marketing, website content, social media, paid advertising, and digital promotions.
- Write and edit compelling marketing copy tailored to students, alumni, faculty, deans, corporate and education partners, and other audiences.
- Build and maintain program landing pages, registration forms, surveys, and event webpages.
- Coordinate with internal staff and alumni chapters to create and send alumni event messages.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing materials.
- Conduct audience research and segmentation to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Analyze campaign performance, including email engagement, website traffic, registration trends, attendance, and conversion metrics.
- Develop post-event reports with actionable recommendations to improve future marketing efforts.
Partnership & Sponsorship Development
- Identify, research, and qualify new corporate, nonprofit, and university partnership opportunities aligned with the BGS mission.
- Assist in the development of outreach strategies to cultivate new sponsorships and strategic partnerships.
- Create customized sponsorship proposals, marketing materials, presentations, and outreach communications.
- Manage prospect outreach through email, phone, virtual meetings, and networking opportunities.
- Coordinate introductory meetings between prospective partners and organizational leadership.
- Assist in negotiating sponsorship opportunities and partnership agreements.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for sponsorship and partnership inquiries and a secondary point of contact for existing partners and sponsors.
- Monitor partnership performance and recommend opportunities for growth or expansion.
- Coordinate sponsor deliverables to ensure all contractual marketing benefits are fulfilled on schedule.
- Track sponsorship fulfillment and maintain partnership documentation.
- Assist with reporting partnership outcomes and ROI.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Programs, Alumni Engagement, and Marketing to align organizational priorities.
- Support event planning by ensuring marketing and sponsorship activities remain on schedule.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding campaign performance, sponsorship progress, and upcoming deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and increase operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, business development, partnership development, sponsorship sales, communications, or related fields.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong copywriting and editing abilities.
- Experience creating and executing email marketing campaigns.
- Experience managing website content and landing pages.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Analytical mindset with experience evaluating campaign performance and marketing metrics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred
- Experience with marketing automation software such as ClickDimensions.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience working with nonprofit, higher education, or membership organizations.
- Experience managing sponsorships or business development initiatives.
- Knowledge of project management platforms such as Basecamp.
