| Dr. Robert Reich |
Philanthropic Landscape 2012 marks the 10th anniversary of this popular event. In recognition of this milestone, we have invited Dr. Robert Reich, co-director of the Stanford University Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society to serve as keynote speaker. Dr. Reich will discuss what the future holds for philanthropy and nonprofits over the next 5-10 years, including recent social, demographic, economic and psychological shifts and their implications for both fundraising and demand for nonprofit services. In addition, he will discuss how organizations of all sizes can use this information to improve their operations and enhance their success in both the short and long term.
A panel of local nonprofit leaders and grantmakers will follow Dr. Reich’s speech in a lively question and answer session that will include questions from the audience.
The annual event also features a look at national Giving USA numbers, our own surveys of local nonprofits, grantmakers and individual donors, and a panel discussion on the latest trends and sector developments.
