Catholic Charities of St. Louis
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Communications Specialist to serve as a storyteller and key liaison between our ministries and the public.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop and write impactful stories, press releases, newsletter content, and web copy that highlight the work and mission of Catholic Charities.
• Serve as a communications bridge between ministry co-workers, clients, and the public, gathering real-life stories and transforming them into moving narratives.
• Build relationships with local and regional media outlets; pitch stories and coordinate media opportunities.
• Assist in the development and execution of media campaigns, events, and strategic communications initiative
• Uphold the mission, values, and Catholic identity of the organization in all communications
Qualifications:
2-4 yrs. experience with a marketing & communications team, preferably in a non-profit environment; Experience with Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva and other creative platforms. Understanding and experience with Geo-Targeting and other analytic measurements
