Note: This role works year-round (including summer) supporting the Wyman Leaders Program This role includes a residential requirement at Wyman’s Eureka, MO campus during a portion of the summer for Wyman residential summer programming.

The School Programming Coordinator for 9th and 10th Grade is a member of the Wyman Leaders program team and is responsible for coordinating and managing school year programming for rising 9th and 10th graders. This role provides support for this cohort of Leaders program participants to support teen progress towards college and career readiness and post-secondary success. This includes ongoing coaching, resources and connections to academic tools and supports. The Coordinator manages the Leaders recruitment process for incoming 9th graders, including relationships with staff from nominating schools, recruitment presentations, application and interview process.

This position works collaboratively with the Wyman Leaders team during school-year programming to create a seamless multi-year program for participating teens. During the summer, the Coordinator supports the daily operations of the residential summer camp programming for rising 9th and 10th graders. This position is residential during the summer on Wyman’s summer camp property.

Qualified candidates will have at least 2-4 years of professional experience in college access programming and/or HS guidance counseling, and 1 year of youth development experience. Comparable experience may be considered. Ability to serve as a field instructor is preferred. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with an ability to serve diverse community populations and actively seek ways to collaborate with Leaders team members and across other Wyman programs. A Bachelor’s in education social work, psychology, or a related field is required (equivalent work experience may be considered); a Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
