Position Summary
The Coordinator manages the daily operations and support of volunteers within the Woman’s Club of Washington University (WCWU). Both organizations seek to engage members in ongoing learning and support student education through scholarships, projects, sponsorships, and leadership opportunities.

Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Works in close partnership with the board and committee leadership of the Woman’s Club (WCWU) to coordinate and implement details for meetings (reports, agendas, financial statements), educational programs and social functions for all constituents within each organization: current members, honorary members, lapsed members, and potential members. Coordinates with volunteer leadership to plan the WCWU events. Works closely with volunteer leadership to assist them in their roles and the timely creation of programs and events (both in-person and virtual) and serves as their partner in efforts to increase membership, steward members and enhance their experience. Maintains strong relationships with members of the WCWU, the university community and other stakeholders.
  • Develops, updates, and publishes WCWU electronic and print communications including online directory, newsletters, website, brochures, booklets, programs, dues renewal mailings, and all event communications. Responds to requests for information and materials.
  • Develops and implements general functions for the Woman’s Club (WCWU) members and volunteer leadership: prepares and publishes all materials for board, transition and planning meetings, as well as events, programs and luncheons; maintains RSVP records; manages membership database and publishes reports; manages general correspondence; updates by-laws, WCWU history, Board Member and committee lists and reports for meetings
  • Reviews, processes, and reconciles the membership records, reports, and financial functions for the Woman’s Club, including accounting transactions, coding purchases, membership dues and gifts, campaign activities, budgets and actuals, and fund transfers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned including support and onsite logistics for Women’s Society and other Special Events & University Ceremonies events.

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Excellent skills in word / data processing, records management, and oral / written communication skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new programs and customer relationship management systems to help modernize records and use technology to harness data and trends.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification.
  • Three years of relevant experience.
