MOEDA’s evidence-based, interactive, and informative educational curriculum for middle and high school students. The program has also spread to parents, school professionals, and the community. As part of the health class, we educate students by dispelling myths about eating disorders, teaching what they are, including the signs and symptoms, and how to get help or help a friend. Our data shows this is an effective program and the students are learning with each presentation.
Role Description:
A dynamic, self-starter who is highly motivated and enjoys working with students and public speaking. This job is full-time (9 months of the year – summers off). Compensation is $20 per hour. Other than school presentations this is a remote position. The Educational Program Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing the program throughout Missouri.

Qualifications:
-Must be available: 7 am to 3 pm
-Mush have reliable transportation
-Must be comfortable with public speaking
-Eating disorder/Mental health knowledge is a plus, but will train
-Previous experience in the development and delivery of educational programming
-Proficiency in using Microsoft Office platforms and social media channels
-Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
-Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Experience working with volunteers and community partners is a plus
