Coordinator to the VP for Academic Affairs

The Office of Academic Affairs seeks a talented and experienced coordinator reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. The coordinator oversees daily operations, provide project management support, and serves as a liaison between the Vice President and other University offices as well as external constituencies. Successful candidates will demonstrate progressive skills that include communication, research, and technical skills (Microsoft Office) with attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multi-task. Prior experience in higher education and/or providing support to senior leadership is appreciated.

Location: Webster Groves Campus-WEBG

Minimum Qualifications

Prior higher education experience that includes working with academic policies preferred.
Prior experience providing support to senior level management preferred.
Highly detailed with demonstrated ability to coordinate, plan and implement projects and special events.
Strong oral and written communications skills, including composition and editing.
Research experience in a business environment that includes sourcing information both internally and externally.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and mainframe experience required.
Ability to clearly communicate policies and procedures.
Customer service skills that include working with a diverse staff/customer base and representing leadership and the organization with a high degree of professionalism.
Ability to plan, prioritize and multi-task under deadlines.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Ability to work with highly confidential information a must.
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree a plus.
