Ultimately, this position is the primary advocate for Salesforce within the organization and will help to appropriately expand its use.

  • Train staff members on the effective use of Salesforce to increase organization adoption and standardize processes.
  • Attend regular meetings with various departments to keep up to date on issues and opportunities for growth.
  • Work with our managed service partner to get help and coaching as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 2+ years hands-on Salesforce Administration experience.
  • Experience working in a data management role with a nonprofit organization (ideally more than one).
  • Proven customer service orientation combined with the ability to work well with others.
  • Creativity, initiative, excitement about the possibilities of Salesforce.
  • Spreadsheet expertise (Excel or Google Sheets).
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to people of varying technical skill levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business or computer science, or equivalent years of related work experience.

  • Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud certification.
  • Experience learning skills and earning badges on Salesforce Trailhead platform.
