Are you an energetic self-starter with a positive, solutions-focused approach? EMD Consulting Group is proud to assist Rx Outreach, the country’s largest nonprofit pharmacy, in a search for the new Director of Development. We ship over 250,000 prescriptions each year to individuals across all 50 states. We have specialized programs for those transitioning from challenging circumstances such as addiction recovery, post-incarceration, and aging in place.
As DoD, you’ll become an integral part of our six-person management team. You’ll build coalitions to expand corporate, foundation, and grant fundraising efforts. Reporting directly to CEO Julie Erickson, this role empowers you with the support you need, including a budget to add a full-time direct report within this fiscal year.
We’re looking for a candidate who is well-versed in fundraising best practices, excels in written and verbal communication, and confident in your ability to communicate with clarity and persuasion. The successful candidate will thrive on creating and implementing innovative solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Enhance RxO’s donor base of individual, corporate, and foundation support to boost annual contributions.
- Cultivate significant connections with new and existing supporters,
demonstrating a responsive and positive attitude. - Conduct research, draft, and submit grant proposals to public and private entities, showcasing strong writing and editing skills.
- Create and execute a thorough development strategy, expanding upon existing strategies and partnerships.
- Coordinate and execute special events to attract new supporters.
- Maintain and grow medication donations from pharmaceutical manufacturers.
BENEFITS: Starting salary of $95,000 to $120,000, PTO starting at 4 weeks, and excellent medical benefits.
