As the Manager of Community and Corporate Engagement at HSMO, you’ll collaborate with key leaders including the President, Chief Development Officer, Director of Leadership Giving, and Director of Corporate and Foundation Giving. Together, you’ll drive the fulfillment, execution, and identification of corporate partnerships for events, programs, and initiatives. Your focus will be on nurturing existing relationships with companies and fostering new partnerships. You’ll also work closely with our Marketing team to ensure that these partnerships are leveraged to benefit HSMO to the fullest.

Duties and responsibilities include:

-Identify and research potential corporate sponsors, partners, or donors whose values align with those of our organization.
-Develop and maintain a database of prospects, including contact information, past interactions, and potential opportunities for collaboration.
-Initiate contact with key decision-makers through cold calls, emails, and networking events to present sponsorship opportunities and discuss potential partnerships.
-Customize sponsorship proposals and presentations to align with the interests and objectives of each prospective partner.
-Coordinate meetings, presentations, and follow-up communications with potential sponsors to nurture relationships and secure commitments.
-Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, communications, and program staff, to ensure alignment and fulfillment of sponsor expectations.
-Track and report on outreach activities, sponsorship revenue, and other key performance metrics.

Minimum Qualifications

-Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
-Minimum of 3 years of fundraising experience.
-Proven track record of cultivating and maintaining corporate relationships.
-Proficiency in developing funding request proposals.
-Demonstrated success in securing corporate sponsorships and program support.
-Ability to build and nurture cohesive and strategic partner relationships.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and presentation abilities.
-Collaborative and enthusiastic personality, adept at fostering positive relationships with staff, volunteers, donors, members, and vendors.
