Villa Duchesne

Villa Duchesne is seeking a full-time Manager of Major Gifts (July 2024). This candidate will advance the mission of Villa Duchesne specifically with the implementation of the School’s short and long-term fundraising plans. The position is designed to support the school community and campus, further the mission of the School, increase revenue for the School through major gift acquisitions, and foster the work of the Board and its campus master and strategic plan.

Primary Responsibilities include:

●        Partner with the Director of Advancement in major gift fundraising efforts and campaigns, including individual, corporate, and foundation gifts

●        Manage of portfolio of leadership donors

●        Partner with the Director of Advancement in the planned giving program

●        Partner with the Advancement Team in fundraising, event management, and volunteer relations for the Villa Fund Annual Bonne Chance Auction

●        Assist in the development of campaign case statements, marketing and campaign materials, and online social media and website presence

●        Coordinate with Advancement Data Manager on donor profiles and gift acknowledgments

●        Assist in Advancement operations that include site selection, vendor negotiation, event registration, marketing, onsite staffing and post-event reporting

●        Assist with organization-wide events including school side, fundraising, and volunteer recognition events

●        Collaborate with other departments and program staff to maximize fundraising results.

This candidate will have a conferred bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) and will have three to five years of  previous advancement and fundraising experience.
