Job Title: Operations and Community Support Coordinator

Salary: $22-$25/hourly approximately 20-25 hours/week

About HESTL: House Everyone STL is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created to lead the way in ending homelessness in the greater St. Louis area using data-centric solutions that support community service providers and drive systemic change.

Position Overview: The Operations and Community Support Coordinator will play a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s mission by providing administrative and operations support as well as managing agency communication activities such as social media and monthly newsletter distribution. This role will participate in community coalitions and provide partnership support. This is a part-time hourly position, with the potential for full-time employment as the organization builds capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

o   Administrative Support: Supporting Board operations by preparing agendas, taking notes, and maintaining calendar invites. Providing support related to tax forms, audit requests, and supporting documentation.

o   Communications: Manage and execute communication strategies across social media, newsletters, and the organization’s website.

o   Networking and Social Convenings: Organize and lead networking events and social gatherings to strengthen community ties and partnerships.

o   CoC Meeting Attendance and Support: Participate and support regional CoC meetings as needed and as appropriate.

o   Inclement Weather Support: Work closely with the Deputy Director to develop community wide solutions to keep our unhoused neighbors safe during extreme weather.

Qualifications:

–            Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Social Sciences) or equivalent experience.

–            Strong research and writing skills.

–            Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

–            Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Skills and Competencies:

–            Takes initiative and is highly organized.

–            Knowledge of/experience working in the homeless response system or other systems of care.

–            Strategic thinking and innovation.

–            Proficiency in data analysis and system mapping.

–            Commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
